Help your pet feel better
Request an Appointment
Request an Initial House-Call or Phone Consultation appointment by completing our Pre-Visit Questionnaire. We’ll contact you via email to schedule an appointment after we’ve reviewed the information in the questionnaire, usually within 24 hours.
To request a follow-up appointment (House-Call or Phone Consultation), send us an email.
What To Expect During Our Appointment
The initial appointment includes an exam encompassing many philosophies, including Western (Modern Conventional), Eastern, Chiropractic, Nutritional, Functional and other perspectives, and a LOT of discussion about these Holistic concepts and how they may help your pet.
At the initial appointment, we will be focused on finding & understanding why your pet is sick or how and why they are injured. Some amount of therapeutic chiropractic, rehab, and massage are built-in to our hands-on exam, but adding more than that can overwhelm some pets. So, we may or may not perform these or acupuncture treatments at the initial visit. We will likely prescribe herbs or nutritional supplements, provide nutrition education and other healing options, and possibly discuss the judicious use of other medications (if necessary). Remember, although we are Holistic and lean toward a more natural approach, we will recommend and encourage whatever we think is best for the situation, which sometimes means that we have to save the natural process for next time.
Every exam we perform on your pet will be Holistic and will often focus more on one particular Holistic methodology depending on your pet’s current condition. Sometimes it will be primarily chiropractic, sometimes primarily acupuncture, sometimes massage and rehab, and sometimes it is predominantly a discussion of our observations and treatment options.
Being 'Present' For The Appointment
In this day and age, it can be difficult for many of us to find one full hour of relaxed “free” time for a thorough veterinary visit, but your pet’s health depends on it!
We want to spend as much time as we can to understand your pet’s history, past problems, current problems, and lifestyle to treat them better and help them restore balance to their system to keep them healthier!
Be prepared to delve into further discussion about your questionnaire answers and to provide additional details about your pet’s prior medical history.
